Support Building Beauty

Dear Friends,

Thank you all for your continuing support of students who need financial assistance to attend the Building Beauty course. This gives us the means by which to welcome students from all over the world who wish to make nurturing environments for their families, neighborhoods, and communities.

The Christopher Alexander Scholarship Fund

Building Beauty continues Christopher Alexander’s legacy.

Donor contributions make it possible for us to welcome students from all over the world, particularly from developing countries, disadvantaged neighborhoods and new settlements where the practical work taught at Building Beauty can enhance the wellbeing of residents. Our students share with us a commitment to Christopher Alexander’s principles and the intention to help people everywhere build communities where they and their families can thrive.

The Kyriakos Pontikis Scholarship Fund

Kyriakos Pontikis studied and worked with Christopher Alexander and many of his colleagues for more than 20 years.  As a practicing architect, published author and university professor his work was immersed in the exploration of the ideas of wholeness and living structure.  Kyriakos worked tirelessly to promote the ideal of bringing beauty into the world, and we honor his memory with the establishment of this scholarship fund.  We invite you to pledge any amount to support this scholarship that honors Kyriakos and helps our program continue the work for which he dedicated his life.
